Balsamic vinegar (Aceto balsamico di Modena IGP) from the renowned vinegar factory Pedroni. It is made from wine vinegar and cooked grape must from the Trebbiano di Spagna variety. It ages for several years in oak barrels, giving it a thicker consistency and a sweeter, unmistakable taste that more closely resembles Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale. It is not colored with caramel. It tastes excellent on grilled meats, fresh and aged cheeses, or strawberries.
Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP is a balsamic vinegar produced in the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia by mixing grape must and wine vinegar. Caramel may be added as a coloring. It ages for a minimum of two months, but it does not have to be in wooden barrels. It is bottled in containers with a minimum volume of 250 ml.
