Making simple wines is the hardest thing. To find out how, the Baccarelli family from the Umbria winery Roccafiore joined forces not with a local enologist, but with Hartmann Donà from the foothills of the Alps, who gave the wine the right flair. In the green heart of Italy, they built a modern design winery, focused on local varieties such as Grechetto di Todi, Trebbiano Spoletino, or Sangiovese, and went in an ecological direction. And it paid off - there is demand for their pure, beautifully drinkable wines in many corners of the world.
